A double-flanged crane wheel with 33″ tread diameter, 4″ tread width, a 5.28″ bore, weighing approximately 1225 lb. Double-flanged wheels locate the load on both sides of the rail head, which suits top-running bridge and gantry travel where lateral guidance is required.

UTEC Industrial precision-machines this wheel from high-alloy, fine-grain steel billets, then performs in-house induction hardening with controlled case depth and hardness verification before shipment. Full raw material chemistry documentation — the complete chemical composition of the steel — is available with every order. UTEC has manufactured crane wheels and sheaves in the United States since 1983.
